The run will take place at York Racecourse from 6pm, with the aim of raising money for students experiencing hardship.
The run, which is supported by current and former staff and students, governors and also family and friends of the university, has been funding the SPARK scholarship fund (Securing Potential and Releasing Knowledge) since 2005.

Everyone is welcome on the day. Entry is only £5 (£2.50 for under 16s) and spectators are welcome free of charge. Car parking, toilets and refreshment facilities will be available.
