Bankers, Bogs and Chocolates

Wed 9 May, 10.30am to 1pm - Ride starts from the Hub Station, Wellington Row

To mark the centenary of nature conservation organisations this free ride will go to Askham Bog and cover the origins of nature trusts, the creation of the reserve and stop at sites related to the chocolate makers who made this possible. It will follow cycle tracks and city centre roads, therefore riders must feel confident cycling in traffic.

All you need is a roadworthy bike, a pump, a spare inner tube, lock, suitable clothing and a drink. Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
