An exciting programme of events including, 1212: The Making of the City at Yorkshire Museum, historic talks and walks, special screenings, a medieval market, an archaeological dig and lots of activities at Explore York Library and other libraries as part of the Big City Read 2012.
Many of York’s historic medieval buildings open their doors for special events, including the Minster, Barley Hall, Merchant Adventurers’ Hall and York Guildhall. Not to be missed!
